In this delightfully funny musical revue, Nicola transports us back to Britain in the 40s and 50s with her recreation of national treasure, Joyce Grenfell. The evening features the best of Joyce’s comedy songs and monologues from ‘Stately as a Galleon’ to ‘School Nativity Play’. Add to the mix comic numbers by Flanders & Swann and Noël Coward, and you have all the ingredients for a delicious encounter with one of Britain’s best-loved comediennes.
Nicola’s West End appearances include: Guys and Dolls with Ewan McGregor; National Theatre’s Oklahoma! with Hugh Jackman. Work as choreographer includes: Inside No 9 (BBC2, BAFTA Award, Best Comedy); Eric and Little Ern (Vaudeville, Olivier Award Nomination, Best Entertainment).
Malcolm is well known to Radio 4 audiences as Graham Ryder in The Archers. As a composer, West End shows include: The Shakespeare Revue (RSC, Off-Broadway); The Madness of George III (Apollo); When We Are Married (Garrick, Olivier Award Nomination, Best Revival).
Licenced bar from 7pm.
